Warriors Considering Bringing Back Former Player
A seasoned big man will likely be one of the final additions to the Golden State Warriors' roster before the 2023-24 NBA season.
Dwight Howard is set to visit with Golden State, but the franchise is also exploring other experienced centers.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Warriors are considering veteran center Dewayne Dedmon.
Despite being a journeyman, Dedmon joined the Warriors as an undrafted free agent in 2013.
Dedmon played 15 games with the Warriors' G-League affiliate in 2013, which led to a fresh
opportunity with the Philadelphia 76ers.
After that, Demon played for the Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, and Atlanta Hawks.
After starting his NBA career with the Warriors, Dedmon will try to snag a last roster spot.
Dedmon, 34, would play a small role for the Warriors as an insurance big behind Kevon Looney
and Draymond Green if taken over Howard.
