Shedeur Sanders Faces Possible Suspension After Eye Poke Against Colorado State

Shedeur Sanders performed well again on Saturday, but he might be disciplined this week for poking an opponent in the eye.

Deion Sanders' Buffs defeated the Colorado State Rams in double-overtime at Folsom Field in Boulder to become 3-0 on the season.

Colorado was 23.5 points favored, but the Rams gave the Buffs a fright in an ill-tempered contest with several penalties.

With less than a minute left, Colorado State led by eight points, but Shedeur Sanders channeled his father, Deion Sanders, as "Prime Time" to lead his team the length of the field to tie.

On Saturday, the Heisman hopeful added 348 yards and four throwing touchdowns to his outstanding CV. He then scored twice more in overtime to win 43-35.

Head coaches fought before the game, with "Coach Prime" furious with Jay Norvell's statements that the NFL Hall of Famer was rude when speaking to the media in sunglasses and a hat.

Both sides committed many penalties, including Henry Blackburn's late hit on Buffs standout Travis Hunter.

The two-way feeling was eliminated in the first quarter. He will miss many weeks due to injuries.
