3 DETROIT LIONS TO BLAME FOR HEARTBREAKING OT LOSS TO SEAHAWKS

Being a Detroit Lions fan is tough. This team impressed fans by defeating Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs last week. 

In Week 2, they lost to the Seattle Seahawks after blowing an early lead and failing to stop Geno Smith in overtime.

The lions' defense was ready for a big game. Seahawks missing Cross and Curtis at tackle, aiding Detroit's pass rush against Geno Smith. 

Hutchinson and the Lions pass rush were ineffective. Seahawks backfield lacked substance and it was costly.

Dan Campbell and the Detroit coaching staff praised rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs as a "offensive weapon" this offseason. 

Alabama player was key in the passing attack on Sunday. Gibbs led the Lions with 9 targets and 7 receptions, gaining 39 receiving yards as a versatile option.

Jared Goff had a decent Sunday at work. The Lions quarterback had a great game with 28 completions, 323 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. 

The lions lost the halftime lead, need to respond. Goff's worst throw of the day was intercepted by Tre Brown.
